My love of photography developed at an early age. I was able to step foot in a darkroom in elementary school and began to practice with my father's vintage 35mm. My high school photography instructor, Stephen Wicks, was an incredible inspiration and mentor, and I continued to cultivate this growing passion at Boston University with photojournalism courses and through my travels. Like many fellow photographers, I didn't dream that taking photos could actually become a job.
A few years later, our wedding photographer, Craig Litten, took me under his wing and gave me that final push to follow this love of photography. The birth of my nephew immediately followed, and my desire to work with babies and children blended in seamlessly. My current work focuses on natural light portraits of families, from the moment the first born arrives onward.
I work mostly in Sarasota but travel often to Boston and Chicago.
